About me

Over 30 years ago, a new job brought me to Yucaipa, where I had the opportunity to work for the builder of Rolling Hills during its development. At the time, the community was just beginning to grow, but I was immediately captivated by its charm, clean air, and the incredible hiking and horseback riding trails—two of my favorite pastimes.

When I married my husband John, it was clear that Yucaipa was the perfect place to raise our family. We raised our two children here, and now, with grandchildren, we continue to call Yucaipa home, cherishing everything this wonderful community has to offer. We love this town and remain committed to its future.

As an active participant in several city committees over the past 20 years, I’ve gained a unique perspective on the actions of past city councils and city managers, and I’ve witnessed firsthand the challenges our city has faced and overcome. However, recent events with the current city council and new city manager, have caused me great concern.

I love Yucaipa deeply, which is why I’ve always been dedicated to its growth and preservation. But now, I feel it’s necessary to get even more involved. I believe the current decision-makers have altered the course and identity of our city in ways that stray from what makes Yucaipa special.

I’m stepping forward to ensure that we protect the values and vision that built this community. Together, we can restore Yucaipa’s direction and safeguard its future.

 I hold a B.S. in physiological psychology from UC Davis and am a licensed real estate broker with extensive experience in the industry, giving me insight into sustainable growth. Additionally, as a business owner myself, I understand the needs of local entrepreneurs and am dedicated to helping our community thrive economically.

I’m passionate about a variety of activities that bring joy and fulfillment to my life. Hiking and horseback riding allow me to connect with nature and explore the outdoors, while gardening provides a creative outlet and a sense of accomplishment. I also love volunteering in my community, where I can give back and make a positive impact. Above all, spending quality time with my family and fostering fellowship with friends enriches my life and strengthens my bonds with those I care about.
